Dry
Needling

Dry Needling is a therapeutic treatment based on Western medicine aiming to target and release myofascial trigger points by inserting thin acupuncture needles into specific muscles.

The primary goal of dry needling is to alleviate muscle pain and discomfort by stimulating the trigger points, which are also know as muscle knots or areas of tensions.

The insertion of the needle into the trigger point can cause a local twitch response, which may help relax the muscle and improve blood flow in the area.

Myofascial
Cupping

Cupping is a therapeutic technique involving the use of specialised cups to create suction on the skins surface.

The suction of the cups draws the skin and the underlying tissue into the cup, encouraging and stimulating blood flow, releasing muscular tension and promoting healing.

Our Cupping treatments are paired with Remedial Massage techniques to help address muscle pain, inflammation, and promote relaxation.

Cupping can leave temporary circular marks on the skin due to the suction but typically the marks fade within a few days.

Cupping has roots in traditional Chinese medicine and has gained popularity in both holistic and mainstream healthcare.
